Meet Lynn Biddick

Smiling woman clapping in red blouse.

Born in the charming town of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Lynn Biddick's musical journey began at the tender age of five when she started playing the piano. By the time she was nine, she had already penned her first song while riding her bicycle. Reflecting on her creative process, she shares, “My creative work has always had a multitasking element running through it. I have never done just one thing at a time.”

Her passion for music led her to Boston, where she attended Berklee College of Music, majoring in piano and composition. During her time in Boston and Cambridge, she embraced the vibrant music scene by busking on the streets, honing her performance skills, and securing gigs in clubs and coffeehouses across New England.

  • Her songwriting journey eventually took her to Nashville, where she recorded an EP with renowned producer Brad Jones, known for his work with artists like Josh Rouse and Jill Sobule.
  • One of the standout tracks, "Open Road," won the songwriting contest at Merlefest. In Nashville, she also co-founded the "Born To Cook" songwriter show alongside Gillian Welch.

Now back in La Crosse, she continues to embrace her multifaceted career as a singer, musician, and recording artist. Her discography includes two albums, Ghost in the Bed and Everybody’s Blue, released under Momentous Records. In addition to her music career, she:

  • Teaches music
  • Directs choirs
  • Performs monthly at the Rivertown Songwriter’s Showcase at the historic Leo and Leona’s dancehall turned music venue
